Weather change for the better

Low to mid 70's for the foreseeable future here in the Pennsylvania Poconos!! Is summer all done? Probably not. We have only 30 days left here and then we start towards Indiana and our appointment with Focal Wood Llc to get a new dinette solution. First a stop at the Thousand Trails Hershey preserve and a quick (hopefully) stop at Cummins Coach Care in Harrisburg, PA. We saved money all summer by workamping to be able to afford these extra expenses.
Later this week we will visit Jim Thorpe, PA. It is only a 50 mile drive and has been recommended to us by many folks who live around here. It is in the heart of the anthracite coal mining country. There is even a mine in town with a tour. We'll see.
I'm hard at work on our next book to be titled "So, you want to be a workamper?" I hope to have it published by the end of the year. Pretty ambitious but I think we can do it. After that will come "What your RV dealer didn't tell you."

  1. Jim Thorpe has a nice little down town. Check out the connection of the town with the famous "Molly Maguires" Irish coal miners.

  2. I've been on the coal mining tour! They had me stand under the fresh air vent and my hair stood straight up. It's an interesting tour.
